Jordana Brewster is featured inside the May issue of Marie Claire, which is on newsstands today. This month, she will reunite with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to star in Fast & Furious 6 and also stars on TNT’s Dallas.
Inside her interview with the mag Brewster chats about show business and The Fast and the Furious franchise. Check out some highlights below:
On show business: “Whenever I have a kid, if he or she says, ‘I want to be an actor,’ I’ll say, ‘Please don’t do it!’ But no one in my family was in show business, so they didn’t know any better.”
On her family’s feelings about acting: “My family didn’t want me to sacrifice school for acting. They said, ‘We’ll make a deal with you: If you get good grades, then you can work.'”
On her The Fast and the Furious co-stars: “It’s hysterical that I’ve known Paul [Walker] and Vin [Diesel] for 14 years now. There’s something comforting about watching the same characters grow.”
On the future of The Fast and the Furious: “Everyone asks, ‘Are you going to be doing this with walkers?’ In a way, we should be so lucky.”
